Thanksgiving is right around The corner
Thanksgiving will be here in five days. How will you spend it? What will you eat? And how will you give thanks to the universe? It’s good to be thankful for things daily, but it seems like Thanksgiving jumps out at us to make sure we take the time to be acutely aware of how grateful we are.
What will you Do?

We have decided we will take our dogs, Dolly and Joe to the dog park. They can run, play and socialize to their heart’s content. We will take them in the morning and let them play until they are panting with joy and exhaustion. They absolutely love going for rides and to the park. They get so excited they are running in between our legs, and jumping at the door. It’s really fun to see them super happy and then, later, just wanting to nap.
What will you Eat?
This will be the first Thanksgiving ever that we will be eating a completely plant-based meal. We planned our meal last-night and here’s of what it will consist. For the main course we will have the Field Roast Celebration Roast that looks like this:

The side dishes will include:
#1. Earth Balance Mac n Cheese

#2. Green Bean Casserole

Dana from Minimalist Baker created this yummy dish and you can get the recipe here.
#3. Buttery garlic mashed potatoes

Get this magical recipe from Alex and Linda from their lovely site Veganosity, here.
Ahhh, and finally for desert: Delicious Pumpkin Pie

Pumpkin pie has to be the best dessert in the world! You can get Sam’s recipe from her great site It Doesn’t Taste Like Chicken here.
We are so grateful we will be able to eat such a magnificent meal. I’m certain we will be stuffed and sleepy, but definitely giving thanks. In conclusion, I wish everyone safe travels, a great feast, ample abundance, and tons of fun for your Thanksgiving!
